US Airways Spectrum is an employee resource group created especially for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and questioning (GLBTQ) US Airways employees and their familes.

US Airways Spectrum will seek to promote equality and recognition of sexual and gender identity as it relates to the workplace through:

  • Promoting diversity by striving to build acceptance of everyone while celebrating individual differences.

  • Creating a comfort zone for all GLBTQ employees by providing opportunities for socialization and personal and professional networking with supportive employees.

  • Providing resources and/or tools for educating employees regarding GLBTQ concerns.

  • Assisting in promoting a fair playing field by helping to assure fair and equal treatment of all families of US Airways.
• COMMUNITY
  • Serving as liaison between the company and the GLBTQ community, and promoting US Airways as a world class employer and the airline of choice when traveling
